Golden Greats is the second solo album released by Ian Brown, the ex-frontman of The Stone Roses. Despite the title, the album is not a compilation album, but rather, a studio album. The album, described by NME as "a left-field masterpiece and Brown's best work for a decade",[2] contains soaring sonic textures and electronic dance beats; it is less song-oriented than Unfinished Monkey Business. Golden Greats showcases a diverse usage of instruments including strings, mellotron and organs.

Track 10, "Babasónicos", is the name of an actual Argentine band that collaborated with Brown on the song.
